Riverbench Estate Chard 2010

WINEMAKER'S NOTES: There’s nothing more depressing than an overoaked Chardonnay, and it’s our humble opinion that too many winemakers cover up the gorgeous nuances of this lovely fruit. (Something they’re trying to hide? Hmm…) Before you write off the varietal for good, give this wine a chance. Our Estate Chardonnay, which has a true balance between rich fruit flavors and an appealing toasty note, isn’t deceiving you! It really is that good. Now that you’ve found a wine this well adjusted, you won’t want to let it go. Enjoy it with a soft Petite Crème cheese, or some lobster pot pie.
