Notes from the Winemaker: This perennial favorite has a silky, creamy texture with just a hint of oak. Ripe tropical fruit, pear and green apple flavors are complemented by notes of lemon custard, vanilla bean and baking spice. A touch of flint and minerality further add to its refined elegance. Fresh steamed crab dipped in clarified butter would be an unbeatable match for our Unfiltered Chardonnay. It is equally delicious with quiche, crab cakes with lemon aioli and a range of cheeses. Or try it with a Cobb salad—the chicken, blue cheese and avocado combination will partner wonderfully with this wine.
