Myriad Semillion 2010

Notes from the Winemaker: Twenty-Thirteen was another successful year for all white varietals in Napa Valley and our McGah Family Vineyard Semillon thrived. Straw to light honey in color, this wine swings for the fences. It is bursting with aromas of star fruit, lemon marmalade, talc and honeydew melon. Similar to the 2012 version, look for this wine to carry a little more acidity and more depth in the mid palate where food will take center stage in bringing out all its complexities. The finish is seamless, complete and has a sweetness that is brushed with notes of exotic spice and ripe California melon. While Semillon is known to age gracefully for a decade or moreyou may also want enjoy it over the summer months with friends and family on the back deck with shell fish and cheese.
