Tasting Notes; “The growing season got off to a late start following a cooler than expected spring but continued beautifully through a mild summer that served to maximize flavor maturity with the balanced acidity and tannin development we look for in our wines. The bouquet of ripe blackberry is highlighted with cola and spice leading to a dense mid-palate showing current, kirsch black cherry and a hint of dusty Rutherford cedar with pencil lead minerality. The finish is layered, supple and long with a velvety texture and graceful mouthfeel.”— Rudy Zuidema, Winemaker
