Notes from the Winemaker: Like the Tropic of Cancer our 2015 Barcaglia Lane Chardonnay from Dutton Ranch vineyards reflects the sun-kissed fruit of summer solstice and the sensual character of Henry Miller’s novel. The wine is laden with toasty orange and showy sweet citrus fruits; draped in Madagascar vanilla and alluring tropical spice. Taught skin and gleaming acidity beneath these fleshy delights brings great tension and structure to this succulent chardonnay.
