Notes from the Winemaker: This wine is reflective of the eastern slope of Oakville with great black fruit (blackberry and cherry) and leans towards a purple and black opulence. Thrilling notes of blueberries and liquid violets, and there is also a beautiful minerality / rock underpinning with hints of cedar that is characteristic of clone 7 wines. It is the finish where the wine really shines with muscle and structure that will allow this wine to age gracefully for years to come. Drink now or cellar for 8 – 15 years.
