Bennett Lane Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2006

The vineyards for the Napa Valley Cabernet are predominantly “Up Valley” sites, with the majority in or around Calistoga. Our Cabernet is noted for its deep concentration, and this comes from fruit grown in a warm climate. The vineyards are all of moderate vigor, on loam soils with good drainage, and are cropped to 1.8 clusters per shoot. The 2006 is deep dark ruby in color with rich aromas of dark plum, red cherry and chocolate. The palate is composed of dense flavors of candied dark fruit and subtle hints of vanilla oak.
